How to Schedule Recording a Radio Station?

Free Easy Audio Recorder includes an advanced time triggered recording which can schedule recording either for a website or anything that runs on your desktop to start or stop at a certain time. Using this feature, recording are made automatically on the Once, Daily and Weekly you choose. This convenient and powerful scheduler allows you to record when you can't be at your computer. The functionality of background recording makes the process of recording a radio station handy and efficient!


How to Use Free Easy Audio Recorder to Schedule Recording a Radio Station?

Step 1Select Recording Device and Sound Source

Launch Free Easy Audio Recorder. Click "Show Mixer Window" button () to select the sound card () in your system and choose "Stereo Mix (SoundMAX Intergrated)" () as sound source. You can adjust the Volume () & Balance ().

Step 2Adjust Recording Settings

Click "Options" () and a window will be activated. In "General Settings" tab, you can specify an output format among MP3, WAV, WMA and OGG (). Click "Settings" () to adjust the recording quality by well-configured presets or configuration parameters. Click "Change" () to select an output folder. Other settings like AGC, VAS, Hot Key and Schedule are also available.

Step 3Schedule Recording

Click "Schedule" tab () and check "Enable Schedule Recording" (). You can select the schedule to be involved with Once, Daily or Weekly.

Once: with this option the scheduled recording will be performed only once at the selected date and time for the specified duration ().

Daily: with this option the scheduled recording will be performed daily at the selected time and for the specified duration, starting from the date specified by Start Date to the date specified by Expire Date ().

Weekly: with this option the scheduled recording will be performed weekly at the selected days from Monday to Sunday ().

You can also specify the starting time & ending time () that is precise to seconds by entering the number or clicking the Up/Down arrow. Then, click "OK" () to save all your settings of schedule recording.

Step 4Start Recording

After everything is set, just play the Internet streaming file that you want to record. Then you can see wave variations in the wave pattern. If the volume is too low, you can see only very small variations in the wave pattern. If the sound is being clipped off because the volume is too high, move the volume setting down until most of the volume range is displayed without clipping.

Click the red round record button () in Free Easy Audio Recorder or press the hotkey you just set to start recording. Click "Stop Recording" () to stop the recording and the recorded sound will be directly output to the output folder. Click "Show file list window" () and you will see the detailed information of the recording like filename, location, time, duration & size. You can play the recording with the built-in player.
